Established in 2016, Fitness Food HQ operates from a custom built 14,000sq.ft production kitchen, manufacturing facility & distribution centre in Co. Kildare. Here all our meals & products are hand made by our highly experienced team. We prepare restaurant quality food fresh each day & deliver it to your home or workplace, within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Types of data we collect
We may collect and store the following data as you use our website or avail of our services:
- Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site
- Details of transactions you carry out through our site
- If you contact us; we may keep a record of that correspondence.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
When you complete a contact form on our website we will only ask for information that is relevant and important to providing and improving our services. For example, your name, email, delivery address where required, your your health or fitness goal, and any other relevant information that you provide that helps us to understand your needs and provide an excellent service to you. We will store your information indefinitely or until such time as you request it to be removed, or we decide to remove it. Your data will be stored securely and used to provide the service as requested by you via the contact form. If you decide to opt-in for marketing, promotions, offers, content, or updates we will send you only the materials, advertising, or content that you have opted in to receive.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If attending our offices or at conferences/events/trade shows, and you decide to purchase Fitness Food HQ products or services, we may ask you for your name, email address, mobile phone number, your health and fitness goal, and any other information that helps us to support you to achieve your goal and provide you with the best services possible.
These details may be written on our customer contact form, or added directly to our database. Whether manually or digitally, this information is inputted and stored on our secure CRM system at the Fitness Food HQ offices.
This data will be stored securely on a database that is password protected and accessed only by official Fitness Food HQ staff or approved service providers as required. Any hard copy files created are stored securely in a locked cabinet at Fitness Food HQ offices. Access to these files is possible only with a key held by Fitness Food HQ manager, David Carey.
Hard copy data is reviewed several times every year to ensure all data is current and in use. Any notes not required are shredded.
We take careful precautions to protect your information when you submit it to us via website or face to face. Here is how
- We will not sell, rent or give away your information to anyone
- When we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us securely
- If we take your credit card details over the phone, we input it directly into the secure machine. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept locked in our office, in a security alarmed building.

Whilst these are the companies we use, they will not have access to your details unless it is 100% needed. We have investigated the data security compliance of each company we partner with, and we have gathered copies of their individual compliance documents and policies which we can send you or you can request them directly from these companies.
The criteria used to determine the period of storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After expiration of that period the corresponding data is routinely deleted as long as it’s no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or the initiation of a contract or in the running of the day to day business.

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to [email protected]
